SSC CHSL Tier-1 Expected Cut-Off Marks is declared by the Staff Selection Commission after every stage of the examination. SSC (Staff Selection Commission) CHSL is conducted in three tiers, for recruitment of Lower Division Clerks, Postal Assistants and Data Entry Operator in various ministries and other government organizations. Tier 1 was held from July 1- 11 and the cutoff is expected to release on 11/09/2019.

SSC (Staff Selection Commission) CHSL Tier-1 2018-19 Exam consisted of a total of 100 questions of 2 marks every in the Objective MCQ Format. The difficulty level of the questions in the examination was of easy to moderate level. And, there were negative marking of 0.5 marks for wrong answers.

SSC (Staff Selection Commission) CHSL Result for Tier 1 examination can be released on 11/09/2019 as per the official notification.The cut off can be released along with the declaration of the result. Applicants can check the cutoff at the official website i.e. ssc.nic.in.

Cut off for every tier can be released separately. Applicants who clear SSC (Staff Selection Commission) CHSL Tier 1 examination and secure marks above the decided cutoff can be shortlisted for Tier 2 that Descriptive Test.  Applicants clearing Tier 1 can download SSC (Staff Selection Commission)  CHSL Admit Card for Tier 2 and subsequently for Tier 3. The cutoff for Tier 2 can be declared in October 2019. The qualifying marks for Tier 2 examination is 33%. Final Result can be released in the month of December. 2019.

SSC CHSL Tier-1 Expected Cut-Off Marks:

The cutoff for Tier 1 can be calculated out of total marks that is 200. The Tier 1 examination of SSC CHSL comprised of four sections – General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. The cutoff can vary as per the posts and applicant’s category as well. Owing to its growing popularity and the limited number of vacancies, the cutoff is expected to slightly rise than the previous years. How is SSC CHSL Cutoff (Tier 1) calculated?

  • Applicants have to secure cut off marks in every subject – General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness.
  • Also, they have to score the overall cutoff score to pass the preliminary examination.
  • SSC(Staff Selection Commission)  CHSL Cut off Score 2019 (Tier I) = Marks obtained in (General Intelligence + English + Quantitative Aptitude + General Awareness) after applying negative marking of 0.50 marks for every wrong answer
