Every year SSC CGL is conducted by staff selection commission for the posts of Group B and Group C. The recruitment of the candidates is done in the organisations/Ministries/ Departments of the government. A large number of candidates appear for the exam for the recruitment in non-gazetted and non-technical posts. The SSC CGL 2018-19 notification will be out and the candidates must check the official website of staff selection commission so that they can apply for the vacancies as soon as possible.
SSC CGL Notification
The SSC notification will be released in the month of March, 2019 and the last month to be applied for the ssc cgl exam is April, 2019. The admit card for the ssc cgl exam will be released in the month May, 2019. The candidates must start the preparation for SSC CGL and the candidates who are interested must SSC CGL apply online 2019. The exam will be held in 4 tiers and the candidates have to clear all the tiers. As there are 4 stages so those who will clear Tier-1 will be eligible for the next level i.e. Tier-II and the after clearing Tier-II the candidates will be eligible for Tier III and Tier IV.
SSC CGL Registration and Application
The candidates who are interested must register themselves first. The application orm will be available in the month of March, 2019 so the candidates must register themselves first. The candidates have to visit the official portal of Staff Selection Commission.
- Firstly, the candidates must register themselves by entering the phone number, email-id and password.
- Then you will be issued a registration number. With the registration number and password you have to login.
- All the details are to be correctly filled in the form and then scanned signature and photograph must be uploaded according to the dimensions which are given there.
- Then the candidates have to pay the application fee after filling the form correctly.
- The application fee is Rs.100 but for the females and reserved candidates there is no fee. It is very important for the candidates to fill the form before SSC CGL last date.

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria
The candidates before filling the application form must check the eligibility criteria. It is mandatory for the candidates to be graduated before 01.08.2019. Even those who are in the final year can appear for SSC CGL exam. The following is the education qualification the candidates must have for the exam.
Assistant Accounts officer/Assistant Audit officer
- It is mandatory for the candidates to have done graduation from the recognised university.
- Desirable qualification – Cost & Management Account/ Chartered Accountant/ Company secretary/Masters in Business Administration/Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Economics.
Junior Statistical Officer
- Bachelor’s degree in any subject having statistics as the core subject
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% in Maths at 12th class.
SSC CGL Age limit
The candidates must also check the age limit for SSC CGL 2019. Only those candidates can apply for the exam that will fulfil the age limit criteria. For the different posts the age limit has also been increased by Staff Selection Commission. The age limit criterion is given post wise:-

The candidates can also make the changes as the correction form is provided by Staff Selection Commission. The candidates can make changes in the exam if they want to correct the information. The candidates can make the changes in Gender, category, candidate name, examination city, Father’s name and address of the candidate.
SSC CGL Exam Pattern
The candidates will get selected through the 4-tier process of selection. The last stage Tier-4 will be the qualifying stage. SSC CGL Tier 1 exam will have 100 MCQ questions in one hour on general aptitude. Ssc Cgl Tier- 2 exam will be of descriptive test which comprises of English and Mathematics of the maximum 200 marks. The duration will be of 2 hours. SSC CGL tier-2 exam date will be released on the official website.
SSC CGL Exam Syllabus and Admit Card
The CGL exam syllabus must be checked by the candidates before appearing for the exam. Those candidates who know the syllabus can prepare according to the syllabus and practice more. The exam syllabus can be downloaded online. It is also mandatory for the candidates to download the admit card which will be available on the official website of Staff Selection Commission.
