AFCAT 2019

Indian Air Force has started the online registration procedure for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) on its official web site. Interested and eligible applicants (Men and Women) can apply online for AFCAT 2020 through  OR before 30 Dec 2019.

AFCAT 1 2020 Notification

Applicants who are waiting for the AFCAT 1 2020 exam date and notification, there is good news, the Indian air force has officially announced the notification date of AFCAT 1 2020. The online examination can be conducted on 22 Feb 20 and 23 Feb 20 for the AFCAT examination. Applicants who are studying in the final year and not qualified for the AFCAT this year can apply for the AFCAT 1 2020 from 01 Dec 2019 onwards.

Interested applicants can apply for the flying, technical and non-technical branches of the Indian air force through the AFCAT entry. Applicants who want to apply the Indian air force flying branch, technical branch and GDOC, can apply for AFCAT 1 2020 in Dec this year.

AFCAT 1 2020 Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification and Experience for AFCAT 1 2020:

  • Technical Branch Post:  Applicants must have passed a 4 year degree program in engineering or equivalent, for detailed qualification refer to the notification below.
  • Flying Branch Post: Graduates in any discipline from a valid University with minimum 60% marks in combination and must have passed Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level, Alternatively must have BE  or B.Tech degree (with minimum 60% marks.

AFCAT 1 2020 Age Limit:

  • Flying Branch Post: 20 to 24 years
  • Ground Duty (Technical/Non-technical) Branches Post: 20 to 26 years

AFCAT 2020 Physical Fitness Test:

Applicants can be necessary to complete 1.6km run in stipulated time frame of 9 Min, 100 Meter run in 16 sec, furthermore 20 push-ups and Sit-ups in 1 minute, must be able to do 3 chin-ups and should be able to swim 25 meters. Marital Status:

Applicants below 25 years of age must be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course. Widows or Widowers and divorcees (with or without encumbrances) below 25 years of age are also not qualified. Applicants who marry subsequent to the date of his application though successful at SSB or medical cannot be qualifying for training. Applicant who marries during the period of training shall be discharged and can be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him by the Government.

Selection Process for AFCAT 1 2020 (as per AFCAT 2019): Applicants can be selected on the basis of AFCAT written examination, Officers Intelligence Rating Test and Picture Perception and Discussion test, Psychological test and Group tests or  Interview.
